This first one is a rather unspectacular but still very reassuring little miracle that I experienced. It happened in the beginning of September 2006. I was driving to the city one Sunday evening to attend a worship service at ICF Zurich. Those who know Zurich also know, that it may be tricky to find a parking spot. When I arrived, I had only 10 minutes before the service would start. So I started to look for a parking spot, first in the nearer vicinity of the church and later in the wider vicinity. After looking and driving multiple rounds to find a parking spot for 15 minutes, I got uneasy with my situation. Worship had already started and I haven’t even parked yet. You should know that I prefer to be early rather then just on time. So while waiting at a traffic light to drive another round, I prayed to the Lord: "Jesus, now I have come all the way just for you, to worship you. I ask you to please provide me a parking spot on this next round, otherwise I will drive back home. Amen." I just finished the prayer when I pulled up into the parking lot closest to the church’s main entrance. What would you expect happened next? Doesn’t God always do things better then we would do it? I tell you what happened. Just when I drove up to those parking spots nearest to the main entrance, not one, but two cars pulled out in front of me, leaving me to chose my parking spot! I thanked God for the parking spot, locked up the car and went to church.

I also make sure that I ate the right healthy food because of my family history: I lost both of my parents to cancer in the 1990s. I’m just making sure that I will not have it, but in Nov 05, I was struck by a very rare kind of bone marrow cancer that already caused damage to my kidney, known as Multiple Myeloma. This cancer produces toxic blood that damages the kidney and the body. I have undergone chemotheraphy, blood transfusion and dialysis.
After 3 months of chemo, my doctor told me that they were not happy with the result of my bone marrow test because the cancer cell was not responding and they needed to try stronger medicines. This news struck me. I lost hope, I questioned God. At that time my body was already weak, I was losing too much weight because of vomitting most of the days and I knew that my body could not survive stronger medicines. At the beginning of my ordeal, I knew in my heart that God will heal me, but why this. I sought God but it seemed that He wasn’t there, but I sought even more for His answer. I came to a point that I was tired of fighting to survive, and begun to surrender everything, I mean, EVERYTHING to the Lord, and begun to accept whatever His will for me is. Then at that moment, God gave me peace that can’t surpass anything, and two months after, miracles begun to happen. The cancer cells died down to 10% using the old medicines and new healthy cells were being produced by my bone marrow. A month after, my doctor cleared me from Multiple Myeloma and it has been 5 months now that, my blood component are all normal, my body is getting stronger and my creatinin had gone down slowly but continuosly. I’m still undergoing dialysis weekly to thoroughly cleanse my blood and help my kidney to recover. God is so faithful in His promise that He will never leave you nor forsake you if only you put your trust and faith in Him. He is our divine healer. I know God will completely heal me from my diseases. I give praise and glory to our Lord, God Almighty Jesus Christ for what He has done to me.
The Dove
December 2006 God painted a dove! Please read about „my baptism“ here . You can also see some pictures of the dove here . Now that you read about my baptism, about what the Lord told me, and have seen pictures, you may still be wondering: Is this really a supernatural phenomenon? Here are some facts for you to ponder: - Could it be a bird that just hit the window? No, because a bird wouldn’t leave a picture of a landing dove painted in a white, chalk-like substance.
- The apartment where the dove has been painted is currently empty and only the owners have keys to access it. They even checked with neighbours and friends if there is anyone who still has keys. There is no one.
- The apartment is on the 3rd floor, just below the roof of the building.
- The dove is painted in a protected corner on the outside of a window on the balcony. If anyone wants to access this balcony, that person would have to use an 8 meter leader to climb up. Who would risk that much attention only to paint a dove?
- Accessing the balcony via the roof requires rock climbing skills and equipment as the roof is very steep and basically inaccessible.
- The dove was not painted on a prominent location so it could be seen from the outside or by the public. It can only been seen from the apartment.
- It appeared just a couple days before my baptism. It appeared in the apartment of my baptism assistant and bible study leader.
- A few days earlier, the Lord had answered my prayer and told me to ask for baptism in the Holy Spirit. However, my baptism assistant didn’t know about this until the day of baptism (2 days after the dove had been discovered).
I leave it up to you to decide for yourself. To me, it is the Lord confirming His word. I thank the Lord for His wonderful ways and this great surprise. Praise Him with all your heart!
